Workshops & Projects: An Overview

Our approach is not to teach in a conventional fashion, but to promote and deliver hands-on opportunities whereby participants experience for themselves what it is to plan, design and make elements of the built environment.

OUT OF THE BOX THINKING

Building Experiences designs and delivers hands on workshop activities to promote and encourage 'out of the box' thinking. The Workshops are frequently referred to by participants as being inspiring.

DESIGN & OUR SURROUNDINGS

The focus for these activities is our surroundings, whether these are interpreted as local, regional, national or global.

CONNECTIONS

Our work promotes understanding through supporting learners in making connections.
We connect with learners through statutory and non-statutory providers whose objectives are to help prepare future generations to take their place in the world.

TRAINING OTHERS

Building Experiences trains and works with others in its workshop activities. These include teachers, mentors, industry / education providers and ambassadors / professionals from backgrounds such as architecture and engineering.

DEVELOPING NETWORKS - Ambassadors in Schools

Ambassadors representing a wide range of professions and careers aspire to taking their messages to learners through a wide range of creative activities.

Building Experiences is an organisation, which, through its Training Workshops, promotes and supports the development of complementary networks.
