Workshop Programme

The Giant Tetrahedron

...... all living things are based on carbon ......
the carbon atom frequently adopts the shape of a tetrahedron.

This workshop has been carried out in many schools and situations throughout the UK and abroad. It has been used to celebrate national and international events such as Architecture Week, Construction Week, Science Week etc in the UK, Children’s Day in Krakow, European Understanding in Hungary and International Schools Training in France. It has been covered in art and used metaphorically for Development Education training and projects.

All of our Workshops are designed for experiential, hands-on learning. They are also designed with the simple idea that, ‘the sum of the parts are greater than the whole’. Thus the individual achieves and then gives their work to a small group, which in turn, the group gives to the whole group / community with whom they are working. As a result a large structure evolves which is the result of group activity and individual responsibility to that group. The structure thus acts as a metaphor.

All evaluations we receive emphasise the team building and Personal & Social Education aspects of our Workshop approach.
